There’s something uncomfortable about talking about trading when you haven’t reached consistent profitability.
Who am I to talk about trading if I haven’t figured it out yet? (although I don’t think anyone ever “figures trading out”)
But I’ve been thinking about that differently lately.
I may not be able to teach someone how to become profitable. I’m not going to pretend that I can.
But I know a lot about what it feels like to learn this.
I know what FOMO feels like. I know what it’s like to break a rule you literally wrote yourself. I know what it’s like to recognize a good setup and still hesitate. I know what it’s like to make money on a bad decision and lose money on a good one.
And I’ve spent enough time watching myself trade to recognize something:
A huge part of learning to trade has very little to do with learning charts.
It’s learning yourself.
So that’s what Small Fry Trades is about.
Not signals. Not promises. Not pretending I’ve arrived.
Just documenting what I’m learning while I’m still in it.
Still learning. Still making mistakes. Still here.
